Portfolio Accounting Specialist for Financial Software Product

As a IAS Portfolio Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting clients and answering their business and technical questions relating data reconciliation within the IAS portfolio management solution. You will also work with and assist clients convert portfolio data from downloads and competitive products.  You will work hands on with IAS clients to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and the customers’ portfolio accounting services are being fulfilled. 

 

Qualifications:

·  One to four years of investment portfolio accounting and/or operations experience

·  Good oral and written communications

·  Strong organization, presentation, and problem solving skills

·  Practical understanding of software application including portfolio management, customer relationship, analytics, and MS Office tools

·  Must be self motivated, ability to multi-task, and work as part of inter-departmental team.

·  Good with Raw Data:  Write data queries, understand table relationship, low level data mapping, some scripting.

 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

• Solid understanding of securities and investment industry

• Experience working with portfolio accounting packages such as Advent, Techfi, dbCAMS, Centerpiece, PortfolioMinder, Albridge, Investigo, or others.

• Knowledge of compliance issues

• Familiarity of advisory back office support issues

* Series 7 or 63 license would be a bonus!
