The data is used to price Fidelity's Mutual Funds, Active Trader Pro, Fidelity.com, Brokerage Trading, National Financial, Fidelity Capital Markets, among others. Position DescriptionAs a member of Fidelity Market Data, you will be responsible for product management of several key projects driving deliverables, timelines and overcoming any potential issues/risks.     The ability to clearly communicate status and drive project goals to completion is paramount to the role.  Also required is a strong conceptual knowledge of information technology and system implementations.  You will closely monitor requirement scope, timelines and project dependencies while managing deviation through a formalized Change Control Process.  You will work cross-functionally with FMD Development and Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of every request.  The ability to show initiative and to creatively solve problems is required. Lastly, you will contribute to Product Development initiatives, including but not limited to Product Profiles, Reporting functions and strategic-oriented deliverables. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for managing large, complex projects and delivery using Fidelity’s System Development Methodology. Ensures assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines. Prepares detailed cost estimates and documentation for project funding authorization.  Is responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval signatures.  Explanation of project scope and the associated costs as required is part of this process. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management. Develop business relationships and integrate activities with our technical partners, primarily to ensure successful implementation and support of requests across multiple platforms. Manage enhancement requests in compliance with our internal lifecycle process.  Identify any issues with timelines or completion of enhancements ahead of time with timely and accurate updates. Identify inefficiencies, conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.
