This support involves data analysis and collection, performance reporting, and a variety of other functions. The workload includes both ad hoc as well as ongoing reports. Communication skills are important since this position is a key contact point with a variety of other groups both within and outside of AIG SunAmerica. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of investments, be extremely detail oriented with attention to accuracy, and the ability to follow-through on multiple projects. Location: Woodland Hills.•General Data Analysis: Collects, extracts and compiles information, and performs data entry and manipulation. Creates organized spreadsheets for tracking and analyzing data. Responds to requests for basic product and fund information. Provides data analysis and assembles research for special projects. Utilizes internal datawarehouse and front-end systems to extract customer information.•Performance Reporting: Generates performance comparisons relative to various indexes, competitor peer groups and various market benchmarks. Runs reports on various risk and style factors. Utilizes Morningstar, Lipper and EnCorr systems.•Automation: Increased/improved automation of board reporting process, including automation of text comments, performance feeds, links between various documents, quality control in cross-checking numbers, etc.•Outside Services: Monitors, updates and corrects sub-account information reported through various services (Factset, Morningstar, Lipper).•Product Support: Collects data and performs analysis at the overall product level related to product returns, fees, statistical characteristics, etc. Compiles, extracts and reports money manager and portfolio information. Provides research and organizes source documentation to support portfolio changes, updates to the prospectus, new filings, change of benchmarks, etc. •Marketing Support: Generates data and compiles information for portfolio updates, surveys, RFPs and other requests for information. Locates and compiles data for sales literature, marketing themes, sales ideas, market insights, and product highlights. Proofs and verifies performance, portfolio holdings, subaccount information, etc in marketing literature including data tables, charts, quotes, and investment narratives. •Internal Communications: Collects and organizes source materials from money managers. Distributes publications and facilitates flow of information between managers and sales and marketing staff. Creates and maintains report templates, runs reports on a periodic basis, and disseminates reports to the appropriate internal customers. About AIG: American International Group, Inc.
