Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993.The Job Scope is:The Product Operations Analyst will apply financial, technical, and communication skills in order to deliver relevant business analysis to the Encompass Product Operations group. The individual will be responsible for: Partnering with State Management and Field Product Management organizations to deliver insight into various issues affecting our business. Assisting with Encompass catastrophe management initiatives through modeling of exposures and creation of tools that allow up-to-date analyses. Uncovering and effectively communicating trends in our business results. Development, maintenance and enhancement of reporting tools. Completing assigned regulatory data calls for Encompass companies.The skills required are: Strong communication skills Financial acumen and modeling skills Computer skills including Microsoft Access (or other relational database) and Excel (VBA experience is desirable) Project management skills Time management skillsExperience Required:1+ years in analytical capacity. Exposure to insurance/actuarial/underwriting disciplines would be very helpful.  Computer Proficiency:Must have experience with Excel. VBA highly desired.Relational database skills also a must.  Education:College Education Preferred:Major preference: Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Finance.
