Support the completion of several critical Cardmember Services Division cost reduction project initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage Cross Functional Projects - (ie. 2-3 departments, large capital investments, significant cost reduction, etc) 1)Liaise with project's sponsor and/or customer 2) Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented in a business case 3) Establish or confirm guidelines applicable to the project including competion of all wrap-up activities upon project completion 4) Develop project plans by coordinating assigned project team members, ensuring milestones are met (escalating/managing all deviations), and completing integration of time and resources to meet requirements. 5)Facilitate communicaiton as appropriate to all stakeholders 6) Establish key success indicators and recommend trade-offs scope, quality, time and cost 7) Track and report progress and forecast final targets including tracking all changes in project parameters, documenting all obstacles and delays detailing any workarounds, and obtaining approvals to these changes/workarounds from key stakeholders. Support CSD Project Managment Office 1) Lead key company initiatives, e.g. Business Technology Top 25, Business Efficiency Office and RAC presentations. 2)Montior key initiatives to ensure projects remain on target and assist where necessary to keep projects on track 3) Ensure the existence of a business case justifying each project, and a project charter approving each implementation. 4)Identify, document, and manage impediments and issues including systemic problems by following established resolution procedures. 5) Provide centralized services such as: planning; scheduling; estimating; costing; project accounting; risk assessement; forms/systems management 6)Conduct cost analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects. Maintain Project Documentation across BT, CSD, and Finance (BEO & Capital) 1) Develop standard templates and tools as well as guidelines and training on the use of these forms/tools. 2) Develop and adminster a system to capture all required documentation, progress reporting, and analysis associated with project management.*HJ. SKILLSRequired: Bachelor’s degree in MIS or similar business field preferred 5-7 years Business Analyst or Program Manager experience • MS Office Suite • Strong verbal, written and Presentation skills Desired: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable MBA a strong plus MS Project Management software Previous Operations Management experience.
