Project & Contract Financial Analyst

Strategic Analysis is seeking a well-rounded individual to satisfy a requirement for a Project & Contract Financial Analyst. It is of paramount importance to exceed our client expectations with high integrity and focused attention to milestones.

The successful candidate will incorporate the following:

Proposal Requirements:

· Experience in cost proposal generation (proposal writing a plus)

· Familiarity with profit analysis and pricing strategy

Financial Requirements:

· Experience with financial program management

· Ability to grasp profit and loss

· Ability to perform financial reconciliations monthly

· Knowledge of forecast generation and ability to create budgets as well as track spending of up to 20 projects at a time

· Experience in billability forecasting and monthly tracking with capability of processing reimbursements for expenses

Contractual Requirements:

· Ability to track contract deliverables including compiling and submitting monthly status reports

· Understanding of basic contractual concepts including period of performance, no-cost extensions, funded value and ceiling limitations· Must be highly motivated and eager to learn and accept responsibility

· Demonstrated track record of having taken initiative

· Team player attitude a must!

· High level of maturity and discretion when handling confidential and proprietary information

· Capable of working well with a variety of personalities

· Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government granted security clearance, and U.S. citizenship is required

· B.A or B.S. required

 Responsibilities:

As the Project and Contract Financial Analyst, you will provide direct support to the SA Conference Planning Director and the dynamic Conference Planning Department. You will be a liaison to our Accounting Department and Contracts Department in addition to government and commercial clients.  You will understand government rules and regulations with regard to meetings and conferences, track spending, report, analyze and evaluate contract financial performance, perform cost analyses.  You will assist with proposal preparation and cost analysis, have regular contact with all levels of SA clients, staff members including VIPs, speakers, vendors, and meeting attendees. Occasionally, you will assist Conference Planning Department in providing on-site meeting support.  Travel not required, but may be involved.
