Project Manager-Infrastructure

Our client in Wilmington, DE is looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager for a 6+ mth contract to hire opportunity. This project is a WAN connectivity project and entails connecting approximately 12 sites to the company's WAN, and precursors to connecting include a security assessment of the network topography and security infrastructure.

The specific responsibilities for the Project Manager will include:Design a Master Plan for connectivity requirements that addresses bandwidth needs, email, internet browsing and access by external partiesCoordinate the approved WAN design to meet connectivity requirements (SOW's)Develop criteria for exception handling to the Master PlanDevelop detailed, actionable project plans, timelines and costs for each siteWork with management to identify specific resources for all key tasksDiscuss/resolve challenges and alternatives posed by field staffProvide vendor management function to coordinate activities across numerous entities involved

Skills/Required:Strong relevant Project Management experience-PMI certification highly desirableExperience in network architecture and design, MPLS connectivity, network implementations and conversionsExperience in a diverse, international multi-region, cross-functional environment with matrix reporting relationshipsExperience with intranet/internet/extranet security, intrusion detection/prevention and firewallsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
