REO Asset Manager

to join our team located in Santa Ana, CA 92705. REO Asset Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. Oversee REO process from initiation to closing of assigned REO portfolio Ensure foreclosure deed has been recorded and vesting correct Review tax and lien issues Create, implement and update market strategies for REO properties Ensure REO properties are properly maintained Ensure approved repairs are completed by vendor(s) Have an understanding of and ability to cure title and legal issues Ensure department and company policies and procedures are being adhered to Prepare and negotiate contracts Work with all closing coordinators and vendors to ensure timely escrow closings Coordinates various functions such as escrow, title clearance, eviction, property preservation, agent assignment and grading, listing contracts, purchase contracts and closing documents required during the marketing process and liquidation of REO properties REQUIREMENTS: 3 - 4 years job related experience in a national REO servicing department Residential Mortgage Banking experiences required College degree preferred but not required Excellent organizations skills required Computer proficiency is mandatory Ability to read and interpret mortgage documents, real estate sales contracts, and attorney correspondence Strong ability to communicate effectively  Please email your resume to resumeSA@carringtonms.com .
