REO Associate

 

Truman Capital is a Private Equity Fund based just outside New York City in Armonk, New York.  Our primary business objective is the acquisition of mortgage loan pools comprised of performing, sub-performing, defaulted and real estate owned assets.  We utilize multiple special servicers to handle the administration of our loans and have developed a detailed in house servicing oversight operation.  We are currently adding an REO Associate to assist our in house REO executives in the management of our nationwide REO portfolio.  Our ideal candidate is an outgoing professional with at least three years of mortgage loan servicing or investor/acquisitions experience in an REO capacity or successful job experience as a licensed real estate agent.  Data/analyst experience a plus.

 

Core Responsibilities will include:

  BPO review and reconciliation Track and review hazard insurance claim results submitted by servicer Review expenses and final proceeds on liquidated assets Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled closings Review, modify and approve marketing plans and list price reductions Manage a small REO portfolio for assigned states Maintenance of key loan level REO data Keep up to date on REO industry standards Develop and maintain positive working relationship with servicers and brokers Data analysis Assigned responsibilities and projects will vary and change based on the needs of our team-oriented office

 

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

  Experience in the analysis and reconciliation of broker price opinions and real estate appraisals in varied markets nationwide Knowledge of real estate procedures, documents, title and escrow Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient with MS Office applications with emphasis on Excel Must be able to multi-task and prioritize appropriately Very detail oriented / excellent maintenance of data integrity Ability to work independently Ability to adapt to change and project oriented work flow
