Manager - Business Development Support (BDS) We are looking for an experienced RFP Manager to join the BDS (Business Development Support) team. Responsibilities include managing a large team of associates, who respond to RFP's and questionnaires and update consultant databases. This position also oversees the maintenance and updating of answers that profile the firm’s products, strategies and people. The manager will spend a lot of time leading projects to benefit the group, resolving issues and working closely with sales and client service teams. The candidate must develop procedures to maintain strict quality control and ensure that all RFP's are accurate, up to firm standards and are completed by the assigned deadlines. The BDS manager provides strong and positive leadership and knows how to mentor and develop associates. ROLE OF THE BDS MANAGER
The manager oversees the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and timely update of the consultant databases and various ad hoc requests as well as the maintenance of the firm profiles and marketing information that includes: assets under management (AUM), accounts gained/lost, investment professional data, and PIMCO’s RFP database among other firm specific data.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee completion of RFPs, RFIs, questionnaires and various ad hoc requestsOversees the maintenance of investment consultant databasesOversees the maintenance of firm information, such as AUM, gained/lost accounts, investment professional data, and PIMCO’s RFP databaseLead projects Mentor and train BDS associates
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlinesWriting skills and a talent for editing RFP’sAbility to resolve issues and positively influence others with clear and concise communication, both verbally and in writingAt least 3 years experience managing a BDS teamIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of fixed income markets preferred

EDUCATION
§ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Marketing and/or equivalent work experience
