Recruiting Manager
The D. E. Shaw group is seeking an individual with a strong record of academic and professional achievement to lead part of its world-class recruiting department.
· Candidates must possess extraordinary intellectual ability and superlative people-management, organizational, and communication skills.
· Previous recruiting experience is desirable, but not required; successful managerial experience in a human capital function at a top-tier organization is equally relevant.
· Candidates should be strongly motivated to lead important aspects of the recruiting function at a firm that makes every effort to identify and attract the strongest candidates in the world for every position.
· Depending on background and qualifications, the Recruiting Manager will oversee one, two, or all three of our primary search groups (Technical, Front Office, and Support) and will supervise up to 16 recruiting Associates and Assistants, possibly including other managers.
· No cold-calling or other personal candidate sourcing is required or expected.
