Regional Retirement Representative
One of our key clients is a proven industry leader, with consistently strong investment results and first-rate customer service, that has grown dramatically and recently, along with its affiliates. They currently manage over $260 billion in assets, including mutual funds having more than 6 million shareholder accounts, as of December 31, 2007. During that time, the company has continued to expand its focus beyond that of a retail mutual fund provider to become a diversified asset management firm offering high net worth and institutional products and services. They currently have an opening in the Denver area for Regional Retirement Representative (RRR). The Regional Retirement Representative (RRR) is a telephone based sales job focusing on the retirement side of the client's business. The RRR’s principal responsibility will be supporting their internal and external partners as well as developing their territories. External partners include Retirement Plan Consultants (RPC’s) and Regional Sales Managers (RSM’s). Internal partners include Regional Sales Representatives (RSR’s) and Client Relationship Managers (CRM’s). Principal Responsibilities May Include: Making outbound calls to financial advisors to follow up on proposed business Taking inbound calls on the departmental sales line Building strong relationships with COI's and TPA's Assist advisors in closing business as well as developing new business Technical retirement plan expertise on all types of qualified and non-qualified plans (401k, Safe Harbor, Profit Sharing, Cross Tested Profit Sharing, Money Purchase, ERISA 403b, 457 and Defined Benefit plans). Ability to make product recommendations (bundled vs. non-bundled) Strong knowledge of the financial markets, the competition and the company's mutual funds RRR’s perform within a metric based structure Knowledge of traditional business software programsThe ideal candidates will possess the following skills/qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Required Series 7 and 63 (Series 6 will be considered) Excellent Communication and Telephone Skills Ability to work within in a team environment Ability to multi-task and handle high volumes of work Excellent organizational skills Sales desk experienceThis is a high profile, extremely lucrative opportunity with one of the largest and most prestigious players in the financial services universe.
