Overview

Barclays Global Investors (BGI's) is looking for Regional Sales Associates (RSA's) to enthusiastically sell their well-known product: iShares exchange-traded funds (ETF) in our newly established Jersey City location. In this role, you will partner with an established business development group within a channel of the Intermediary Investor Business Group (IIB). The IIB group is a dynamic and rapidly growing team. We are seeking candidates with a passion for sales and a positive, ''can do'' attitude.


Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Associate serves as the central point of contact for the team. As a member of the team, a RSA will:

Make outbound telephone calls and follow-up on leads to Advisors within their designated territory and channel. Deliver educational sales presentations over the telephone on Exchange Traded Funds. Manage database of existing and prospective clients. Promote sharing and exchange of knowledge between channels within US Intermediary Investor Business Group. Track leads and sales production.




Requirements

BA/BS degree required. 2+ years of related experience in mutual fund or brokerage industry. NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses required. Proven ability to develop relationships with Advisors and deliver ideas and information that will generate sales and assets. Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast paced team environment. Commitment to excellence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based technology. Strong character references. Clean compliance record.
