Job Description



Industrial Appraisal Company, one of the nation’s leading diversified appraisal firms, is seeking an individual to service and build the South Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia territory. This inside/outside sales position reports to the National Sales Manager in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ to 5 years of sales experience, preferably both inside and outside experience in the public and private sectors. Strong customer service background, excellent time management skills and good follow through skills are a must.

Job Purpose:

 

*Serve customers by selling a broad range of appraisal services (Insurance, Accounting, Market Valuation) which meet customer needs.

 

Duties:

 

*Service existing accounts, proposal preparation, networking, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential new clients.

 

*Adjust content of sales presentations depending on the client’s needs through familiarity with our scope of available services.

 

*Submit cost proposals and orders by referring to established company pricing guidelines.

 

*Keep management informed by documenting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.

 

*Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.

 

*Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

 

*Provide historical records by maintaining records on assigned territory and customer sales.

 

*Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Insurance industry sales and marketing (commercial) and or Appraisal background a plus.
