We are currently seeking a Reporting Analyst at our Mendota Heights, Minnesota location! 

 

The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for supporting current reporting and processes and developing new reports for our internal and external clients.  This will include helping assess current data warehouse processes and assisting with the development of better solutions.

 

The responsibilities of this role are: Develop and maintain performance reporting including daily, weekly, and monthly assessmentsPerform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as neededAssist with performing cost and benefit analysis on proposed new business technological solutionsTrack, document and analyze relevant business strategies and actionsProvide strategic thinking pertaining to new ways of leveraging information to improve business processes and efficienciesParticipate in on-going research projects, data collection, analysis, summary of findings, recommendations and presentation of resultsWork closely with Business users and other team members to clearly understand the business needs and objectives underlying the defined requirementsHelp Identify potential sources of data for the data warehouse

 The technical requirements for this position are:Report development experience in a data warehousing environment using MS Excel and Reporting ServicesAdvanced Excel tools, including statistics and pivot tables. Solid working knowledge of databases, including SQL Server 2000, SQL Server Analysis / Reporting ServicesAbility to use SQL to develop queries and reportsStrong interview and facilitation skills.  Solid workflow analysis and process modeling skillsExperience in identifying and documenting business requirementsAdvanced PC Database and spreadsheet skills (Microsoft Access and Excel)Proficient with Visio, Power Point, Word, and MS ProjectKnowledge of databases, queries and reports

 

It would be helpful to have:Oracle – SQL Plus experience
