Junior Financial Data Specialist/Research Associate

 

The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association is looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to support the growing needs of a dynamic research department. Must be a team player and be willing to go the extra mile to produce exceptional work.

 

The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of and experience in financial data entry, database management, fact checking and file formatting, along with extensive proof reading skills.  In addition to attention to detail and good organizational skills, basic understanding of the equity and fixed-income markets is necessary. 

 

RequirementsB.S. in Finance or related fieldKnowledge of Microsoft Office, including extensive experience with Excel and its graphing features and data management in generalFamiliarity with Thomson Financial databases (SDC and TOBA) and Bloomberg a plusExpert proof reading skills
