Retail Sales Supervisor - Residential Mortgage

Job Description: Wells Fargo Home Mortgage has an opportunity for a highly motivated Retail Sales Manager to help grow and expand the Residential Mortgage Division in the south Houston area. Along with responsibility for personal mortgage production, the Retail Sales Manager directs the work of other mortgage sales professionals and assists in establishing and monitoring goals, implementing policies and procedures, and managing price protection. This position recruits, selects, orients, and trains mortgage loan officers, recommends and/or makes decisions in personnel-related matters. Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Minimum Qualifications: Job Experience:• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience with an emphasis on prime lending and purchase business in a commission-driven environment• Proven sales experience with the ability to meet productions standards of $8 million in the past 12 months• Demonstrated leadership characteristics, organizational skills and experience working in an automated origination environment.• Ability to direct the work of mortgage loan officers.
