Risk/Credit Analyst

Our client is a rapidly growing Credit Card Processor company who is seeking organized and energetic individuals for Risk Management positions.



The qualified candidates must have:

· Bankcard Industry experience

· A working knowledge of Visa and MasterCard credit card processing, regulations and chargeback rules.

· Prior Risk Management experience in monitoring merchant credit card sales.



The individuals will be responsible for:

· Monitoring merchant activity in order to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, potential loss and chargebacks.

· Review and research transaction exceptions per approved account parameters on credit card processing activity as outlined in company guidelines and procedures while meeting required timeframes.

· Use internal systems to review and process merchant data for investigations.

· Additional duties include working ACH rejects to reduce potential loss.

· Correspond with merchants, banks and consumers both in writing and via the telephone as necessary for transaction verification and to investigate possible risk issues.

· Assist management with escalated issues as well as any additional projects.



Must be able to work independently, have strong written/oral communication skills and working knowledge of MS Office especially in Word and Excel.
