SECONDARY MARKETING SENIOR ANALYST

 

Freedom Mortgage Corporation has an immediate opening for a Secondary Marketing Senior Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Create and maintain regular recurring reports and analysis for Capital Markets including statistical analysis on the servicing asset portfolio, mortgage portfolio, trading activities, hedging results, mark-to-market analysis, etc. Assist in the creation/maintenance of Best Execution and daily pricing (ratesheet) models.  Provide analysis/recommendations on product level margins/profitability, as well as product level/channel/loan purpose/loan status pull-through.  Assist in the analysis of investor/execution path opportunities. Individual will serve as Secondary Marketing point person on MIAC integration (hedging/best ex/mark-to-market tool).

 

Frequent ad hoc analysis is required along with thorough documentation of research, analysis and results in order to present to senior management of the corporation (utilizing Business Objects/SQL/Access/Excel). Database creation and maintenance and data retrieval is necessary.

 

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics required. 1-3 years of practical Secondary Marketing, fixed income, statistical, actuarial, finance, research or similar experience is required. An understanding of the mortgage industry is preferred. A high proficiency  - expert level - in both Excel and Access is mandatory.  Experience with Excel Macros and SQL is a plus.  Individual must be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
