SENIOR HOUSING FINANCE OFFICER

Senior Housing Finance Officer - Los Angeles, CA

Monthly salary: $7,487 -  $9,122 (DOQ), plus excellent benefits.  Since 1948, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA) has been Los Angeles' public partner in housing, commercial, neighborhood and economic development. CRA/LA is dedicated to revitalizing, refurbishing, and renewing economically underserved areas of Los Angeles.  CRA/LA seeks to hire a Senior Housing Finance Officer for the East Valley Region.

 

This position will initiate, identify, evaluate, underwrite and expedite housing developments within and outside redevelopment project areas. In addition, this individual will negotiate and recommend terms of complex housing transactions, monitor and implement contracts and property disposition, participate in negotiations with investors, lenders, joint ventures, and other potential partnerships to arrange financing of these developments.

 

Minimum qualifications include at least five years professional experience in real estate development, financing or specialized housing production work.  Bachelor’s degree with a major in real estate, real estate law, economics, planning or a closely related field is required. Additional graduate level course work in real estate, economics, planning and finance is desirable. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License and excellent driving record.
