SOX/Internal Controls Sr. Analyst - NO TRAVEL!

We are recruiting for a solid and growing Fortune 100 company. This is a high visibility position. The successful candidate must be a high performer with a strong internal controls and SOX.  Solid communication skills are also important, as you will interact with many different departments and high level members of management. The company provides outstanding compensation and benefits.

NOTE: There is NO TRAVEL!

Responsibilities are as follows:

·Meet with business unit leaders and identify ways to improve their SOX 404 documentation and testing procedures

·Assess control exceptions identified by the various business units and propose ways to strengthen the related internal controls and processes

·Meet with internal and external auditors to explain and review SOX 404 testing performed by the company

·Follow up with finance and operations management regarding the status of SOX 404 testing, open control testing and remediation plans and timetables

REQUIREMENTS:

·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

·CPA (or CPA candidate) preferred with 2-5 years of accounting experience at an insurance company or in public accounting

·Strong knowledge of internal controls

·Able to evaluate the significance of SOX 404 testing exceptions and the potential financial statement impact

·Effective communication and writing skills
