SQL Server DBA/Sybase Administrator

Structure Networks is in search of a SQL Server DBA/Sybase Administrator for our client company locaIrvine, CA, for a 3-6 month project opportunity. Structure Networks is one of the fastest growing information technology staffing companies in Southern California.

 

Start: Immediate

Duration: 3-6 months (possibility of Contract to Hire)

Location: Irvine, CA

 

This person must cover the duties alone while the primary SSO (SQL Security Officer) is on gone for up to four weeks during this time period.

 

Requirements:

7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA

SQL 2005 experience required

General working knowledge of Sybase and its security functions (identity management/Account Provisioning)

General working knowledge of SQL and its security functions

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database access/permission issues in a timely manner

Ability to communicate with DBA team if issue is beyond SSO scope

Ability to conduct and document quarterly user access audits

 

Nice-to-have requirements are:

Analyze, architect and implement SQL security solutions in order to help us resolve issues identified by Corporate Audit

 

Design/automate routine process used in SSO role
