Sales Agent Assistant

 

National financial service company  is seeking a talented Registered Sales Assistant to provide support to Registered Representatives in the areas of administration, marketing and financial planning in the Columbus Regional Office.   The Registered Sales Assistant will work closely with our representatives and clients.  This position requires a FINRA  Series 6 or 7  registration.

 

We are looking for a dedicated assistant to perform administrative and support functions including maintaining files, preparing correspondence, running reports, answering telephones, copying materials, faxing information, coordinating mass mailings,  processing new business and incoming accounts, and most importantly, interacting directly with clients.

 

The ideal candidate will also:Communicate with co-workers, customers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner,  Follow-up on new business & transfers until completed Investigate and research situations, taking ownership in the resolution process Manage several simultaneous tasks Pay close attention to detail, work under pressure and meet deadlines

 

 

RequirementsSeries 6 or  7 licenses Previous customer service experience is a must 2+ years securities or related industry experience General securities industry knowledgeExpertise or prior experience with 403(b) Plans or 457 Plans a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer skills including proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word & ExcelExcellent problem solving skillsFINRA Compliance knowledge a plus
