Company Name: AIG Retirement Employment Type: Part Time - Regular Education Required: High School Experience Required: 3-5 years Salary Grade: Not Indicated Relocation Provided: No Position Description: Part Time Sales AssistantIn this position you will:- Provide administrative support to Financial Planning Advisor. - Monitor and manage Advisor’s calendar.- Assist with processing client paperwork and forms.- Make phone calls to set up appointments with existing clients and/or sales leads.- Maintain clients’ files.- Respond to clients’ requests or questions regarding forms, sales literature, or administrative account changes.- Prepare client enrollment packets- Prepare and send out client mailings and routine correspondence.- Complete office tasks such as copying, taking messages, ordering sales materials and forms, distributing mail items, etc. Requirements:- Must possess good verbal communication skills and be able to interact effectively with external contacts. - Must exercise discretion in handling client interactions and in directing clients to the appropriate party for resolving problems or complex issues. - Must demonstrate strong organizational skills. - Must be proficient with software applications including MS Outlook, MS Word processing, and MS Excel.- Laptop computer will be provided.Hours & Compensation:- Up to 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday- Compensation is dependent on experience- Securities license preferred, but not required.- Training will be provided by the Financial Advisor.
