Sales/Business Development Executive

Subsidiary of Fortune 100 Financial Services company is seeking a seasoned Sales Executive to provide sales and marketing support in the Eastern Region. 

 

The Sales Executive will be responsible for establishing company presence within the risk management and brokerage communities within their assigned territory as well as generating new sales and opportunities. The Sales Executive is in effect “CEO” of their own “profit center” and will be held accountable for the entire sales process beginning with marketing, development of relationships, responses to requests for proposals, sales presentations and overall profitability of the book of business.  The Sales Executive must have a keen ability to understand client needs, convert those needs to a solution, and appropriately price to achieve return on sales.

This role requires significant travel and has extensive interaction with clients and prospects, as well as brokers and consultants, which control the marketplace. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional sales and marketing skills who is able to effectively develop rapport and credibility quickly with potential client base and industry consultants in their territory.

Minimum requirements:

·  Minimum of 5 years of proven successful sales experience in Healthcare related sales

·  Demonstrates an ability to sell value which in turn equates to achieving profitable margins

·  Experience with pricing and profitability management

·  TPA and/or managed care sales experience a plus

·  MS Office technical expertise with applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·  Bachelor’s degree

Compensation package:

Base salary, lucrative commission plan, and company car included.  Successful candidate can exceed total compensation of $175-200k+.  Exceptional benefits package (medical, dental and 401k).
