This line of business is located in Westboro Massachusetts; however we are open to other east coast locations. AdvisorCentral’s web portal provides access to consolidated account data from many of the largest and fastest growing fund families allowing financial advisors to obtain this data in one simple step.  This role will call on broker dealers, mutual fund companies and insurance firms highlighting AdvisorCentral’s benefits and capabilities.   The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of sales prospecting, presentation skills, negotiations skills, knowledge of mutual fund industry, and the financial advisor marketplace. You will have a strong background in financial services as well as a proven track record in exceeding annual sales goals. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to interface effectively with a wire variety of customers and colleagues is a must. Willingness to travel 40-50%. Relevant BS/BA degree. Must be proficient with all Microsoft applications.  Experience selling web advertising is a plus. In this role you will develop and maintain proactive relationships with potential prospects to understand their needs, develop solutions, and ultimately obtain them as a PFPC client. You will manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through closing the sale for PFPC’s AdvisorCentral services.  Responsibilities include introductions; conducting meetings at prospect/PFPC sites; involving appropriate management/support resources; responding and coordinating RFP process; determining and negotiating fee strategy; closing the sale; ensuring resources (legal, conversion/start-up teams, relationship management, etc.) are in place; obtaining signed contracts; and follow-up on additional PFPC cross sale opportunities.  This role will also develop contacts within assigned market / territory at potential client sites.  Introduce PFPC, determine opportunities (if any), begin sales cycle or refer to appropriate PFPC service partner for action.   This position is also responsible for assisting associates in generating leads and achieving team goals through helping with marketing/advertising concepts, referral generation, and team networking. Incumbent will attend national and regional industry conferences.  Responsible for meeting and developing new business opportunities, arranging outings and dinners, assisting in manning the PFPC booth, along with providing directions/lists for any pre/post conference activity/mailings. Develop networking contacts with professionals in assigned market / territory who can influence/refer new business.
