Job Description: Wells Fargo is looking to hire a SBA Banker 1. Come join the Wells Fargo team! This is a position with Wells Fargo SBA Lending (Small Business Administration Lending) in Emeryville, CA. SBA Lending is a part of Diversified Products Group (DPG). This is a position with Wells Fargo SBA Lending (WFSBA). Internal sales position responsible for generation of SBA loans by providing marketing and sales support to Business Development Officer providing SBA financing to customers of Matsco Financial – a specialty lender for healthcare practices nationwide. Achieves loan volume production goals by proactively calling, direct mail campaign lead generation, following up on referrals from existing clients, promoting products/services with service providers, and participating, as necessary, in trade shows and sales events. Manages workload to meet transaction and closing deadlines and follows up with clients and vendors to ensure that transactions are processed in order to close the sale and fund the deal. Promotes loan quality, assesses for SBA eligibility, ensures compliance with company and SBA underwriting guidelines and facilitates efficient loan processing and coordinates loan closing process. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 yrs experience selling commercial loan products is required and the ability to analyze and interpret customer financial data following WFC and SBA guidelines. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication and business presentation skills are a must. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of the U.S. SBA Loan Guarantee Program, including underwriting, packaging and servicing requirements would be considered a plus.Previous SBA Lending Experience.
