Security Guard - 6pm-6am shift

Security Guard

 

This position is on a 3 day rotational schedule.  3 days from 6pm-6am and three days off.  We are located in Oaks, PA.

The Security Guard has various responsibilities to aid in maintaining the physical security and safety of individuals and assets as well as the facility and its environment.

 

Manning the security operations room to monitor and maintaining the electronic systems including but not limited to:

• Access control, badging station, fire, building management, and paging systems

• Reporting findings to appropriate parties when necessary

• Touring facilities to ensure security and safety maintained

• Responding and executing corrective action to eliminate and/or limit unwanted risks

• Aiding in the maintenance of the physical security and safety of individuals and assets as well as the facility and its environment

• Coordinating issues and projects with other business units as required

• Participating in market unit initiatives and projects

• Keeping abreast of industry standards and knowledge to be able to communicate with client

• Interacting effectively with other SEI teams

• Other duties as necessary

 

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Good communication and problem solving skills

• Ability to adapt to a changing work environment to meet service requirement

• Knowledge of and some skills in PC and Windows applications

• Physical ability to perform walking tours of the facility and some lifting 10-25 pound boxes

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
