Senior Account Services Representative

HFR Asset Management, LLC is an investment advisory firm that structures and manages investment products for domestic and foreign institutional and high net worth investors. The Company is a registered investment adviser and has an affiliated NASD member broker-dealer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Job Description:

Member of the firm’s Operations group dedicated to contract administration, trading procedures and other back-office functions.  Position will report to the Managing Director.

·         Liaise with brokerage firms to facilitate the opening of various account agreements, including ISDA’s.

 

·         Generating reports for brokerage firms and investors.

 

·         Daily communications with administrator, trading managers and brokerage account representatives regarding portfolio reconciliation, settlement, valuation and documentation issues.

 

·         Contact trading managers to discuss brokerage accounts and ISDA’s that are necessary to run the account.

 

·         Manage a team of direct reports, overseeing team member performance, compliance with Company policies, and achievement of goals.

 

·         Provide direct, frequent and honest feedback and coaching, dealing with team members who are not meeting expectations in their growth, performance or goal achievement.

 

·         Additional special projects and duties as assigned by supervisor.

·         Adhering to all company procedures and policies.

 

·         Representing the company’s best interests in their individual actions.

 

·         Any special projects and additional duties as assigned by supervisor or HFR leadership.





 

Job Requirements:

·         Undergraduate degree plus a minimum of 7 years work experience (preferably working with hedge funds), in a back office or related field involving the setting up of new accounts and client service.

·         Skilled at manipulating data utilizing tools such as Excel and Access database programs.

·         Able to work independently and with minimal direction.

·         Strong written and oral communications skills
