Senior Accountant

Check N Go is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other more complex financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Will report organization's finances to management, and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts; perform a variety of complicated tasks. Financial statements and reporting Prepare balance sheets, income statements, shareholder’s equity, statement of cash flow, reconciliation, and other financial reports. Report company’s finances to management and external customer, and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Trend analysis Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues, expenses, and cash flows. Report and make recommendations to management. Taxation and regulatory filings Prepare taxation and regulatory filings such as income taxes, property taxes, licenses, sales and use taxes, and franchise taxes.  System maintenance Maintain and administer General Ledger system. Review and update ledger table. Continuously looks for process improvements to increase efficiencies. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business • 3-5 years accounting or finance experience • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access) • Ability to pay attention to detail • Ability to meet deadlines We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Check `n Go is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Values Diversity.
