Senior Accounting Analyst - Fortune 100 Co.

We are recruiting for a solid and diversified Fortune 100 company. They are looking for someone with the potential to move up the ladder over time to the management level. The company provides excellent salary and benefits, including fully paid MBA. 

NOTE: This is an ideal position for a CPA (or a CPA candidate) with 2-5 years of public accounting or Fortune 500 company experience.

Responsibilities are as follows:

·Research complex accounting issues, assist in the monthly closing process, prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations

·Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and related schedules

·Analyze key financial metrics and variances for reasonableness and accuracy

·Perform special accounting projects and financial analysis as requested by senior management

REQUIREMENTS:

·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred

·3-7 years of accounting experience with a Big 4 Firm, a regional public accounting firm or a Fortune 500 company

·Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate with various groups within the company

·Solid GAAP accounting, documentation and analytical skills; strong computer skills (Excel, general ledger systems, etc.)

·Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
