Job Category: Business/Strategic Management Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Master's Degree Job Description We are TransUnion and we are proud of the remarkable achievements we have made in the consumer credit information services industry.  If you share our competitive spirit and take pride in your professional accomplishments, consider joining TransUnion today.Support the annual business planning process and ongoing planning activities.  Collaborate with the International regions and other cross-functional groups (Finance, Marketing, etc.) to develop business plans and strategy for existing and emerging markets.  Plans and develops long-term goals and strategic objectives.  Identifies, researches, and evaluates new business opportunities and market initiatives.  Tracks competition and identifies threats or opportunities.  Analyzes issues that affect productivity, profitability, and growth.  Recommends business and strategic plans. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Collaborate with the International regions and cross-functional groups (Finance, Marketing, etc.) to develop and maintain business plans for International, countries and supporting business units (ADS, IDSD).  Develop and deliver senior-level presentations for the long-range plan and current year progress. 2. Develop a formal strategic planning framework to enhance current International planning practices.  Integrate traditional scenario and strategic options analysis into the framework.  Integrate creativity into strategy formulation and execution. 3. Partner with Finance to integrate business planning and financial planning into a seamless planning process for the regions.  This would include establishing linkages between the portfolio management, budgeting and planning processes.  Integrate the impact of strategic and tactical plans on the P&L and associated budgets. 4. Execute ad hoc strategic analysis for the leadership team.  Gather competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis, monitor strategy, and predict competitive response for key competitors.  5. Create a dashboard and provide in-depth analysis of metrics currently being used to determine if the business unit is meeting business objectives.  Identify deficiencies and areas of success and make recommendations on process improvements.6.  Performs other related duties as assigned. QualificationsThe duties and responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the job.  The qualifications below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. MBA degree with global strategy experience or experience with strategy consulting would be preferred. At least 5-7 years of general finance or accounting work with 3-5 years progressive work experience with a focus on market and industry analysis. Must have strategy or business planning experience. Knowledge about the credit reporting industry or International business planning experience would be a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.  Ability to speak any foreign languages (especially Spanish) would be an added advantage. Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team in a rapidly changing environment. Good project management capabilities and high attention to detail; comfortable working under deadlines and producing key deliverables. Sound business judgment and excellent problem solving and influencing skills. Proficient financial, analytical, organizational and project management skills. Proven ability to quickly grasp industry and business-wide concepts in order to assess implications to drive actions and to capitalize on opportunities.
