The Senior Client Service Representative is a non-exempt position that provides information concerning retirement account establishment, investments, distributions, and transfers to clients, beneficiaries, and representatives. The Representative coordinates the collection/correction of missing and/or incorrect account information and assists in resolving account issues. This position may also facilitate trade requests from clients, and also:

 Provides requested information and documentation to clients and representatives Follows-up on back-office requests for missing documents or informationResearches information to resolve client issuesFacilitates equity and mutual fund tradesProcesses new account packetsProcesses trades and credit card payments as necessaryMonitor, score & coaches calls, serves as a liaison between the team and manager

 

Minimum Requirements:  A high school diploma or equivalent is required. 2 years’ customer service or call center experience required and financial services industry experience is preferred. Must have 2 years’ experience working with IRAs. Must have an intermediate level knowledge of the financial services industry with an understanding of mutual funds and dividends.  Basic knowledge of nontraditional assets preferred. Must understand and be able to apply IRS regulations and rules related to retirement plans. 

 

Typing of 40-45 wpm and 10-key skills preferred. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.  Must be able to design an Excel spreadsheet and a Word document using intermediate functions.  Must be able to handle confrontation and remain calm in escalated situations
