Senior Compliance Testing Consultant

Your expertise in nondiscrimination testing and compliance, and the ability to clearly communicate complex regulatory information to a range of internal and external clients, could qualify you for this highly influential position at Vanguard, one of the world's largest investment management companies. Clients will rely on you for authoritative information and sound advice on technical and regulatory issues. You'll work closely with external clients, explaining complex testing scenarios and managing testing-related requests, and use those interactions to strengthen existing relationships. You'll use your insights and business acumen to assess industry changes and proactively prepare your department for developments that could affect processes and systems and recommend action plans with a particular focus on risk areas.

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience; professional designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of compliance experience, including 3 years of performing and reviewing nondiscrimination testing for qualified defined contribution plans.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex nondiscrimination and compliance testing issues for a range of audiences.
- Strong technical knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and Regulations, and plan administration.
- Demonstrated client- and project-management skills; ability to handle and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in areas related to regulatory research and inquiries, competitor compliance and defined contribution services, recordkeeping systems, and testing tools.
