Full-Time Senior Corporate/Corporate Communications Specialist Position at a Long Island Based Financial Services Company

 

Holbrook based financial services firm looking for an energetic, enthusiastic hi-achiever to play an essential role in carrying out its corporate communications directives. Candidate will report directly to the Director of Corporate Communications taking on projects and assignments that create and support the delivery of company and industry information to all its key audiences through current and new developing communications channels.  Interested only in individuals who will demonstrate a desire to increase their understanding of the business and seize the opportunities that exists for a future and long-term commitment with a fast growing, promising firm.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Corporate Communications Specialist will prepare and review written content for electronic and hardcopy internal publications and manuals, the firm’s internet and intranet website, scripts for the in-house video production studio, recruiting and marketing materials, and news releases about the firm. Will be responsible for gathering content from the field as well as scheduling and conducting interviews with colleagues and partners of the firm. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Candidate must have 2+ years proven experience working in a marketing or public relations firm or for a company (ideally in financial services but not required), in its PR and/or marketing department. Individual must possess a 4 year degree preferably in communications, public relations, journalism or business.  Individual must have excellent interpersonal, communications and writing/editing skills; must be self-initiating, project oriented, multi-tasking and well organized.  Candidate must also be computer literate.  A familiarity of desktop publishing and graphics software as well as studio pre-production work is a plus.
