Senior Council Manager - Project Specialists and Programs
The Senior Council Manager for Project Specialists and Programs will be responsible for the following:
Project Specialists:
· Strategic and tactical recruiting of Project Specialists (top-tier functional experts in primary research)
· Managing and strengthening relationships with existing Project Specialists
· Building partnerships with external organizations to expand the Project Specialist network and product offering
· Marketing the Project Specialist offering to internal stakeholders at GLG, including Sales and Research
· Providing project support as needed to Sales and Research
· Continuing to develop the Project Specialist offering based on feedback from Sales, Research, Council Management, Research Operations, and Compliance
· Liaising with Research Operations for the development of internal and CM-facing systems to manage Project Specialist engagements
· Documenting and disseminating best practices for the oversight and execution of Project Specialist reports
Specializations Program:
· Continually refining strategic objectives of the Specializations Program (a system to evaluate CM proficiency in key functional skill areas)
· Developing and managing the skills evaluation process
· Driving new applications of the Specializations Program in GLG’s offerings to clients, including in-person events, custom reports, translated interview write-ups, etc., based on feedback from Sales, Research, Council Management, Research Operations, and Compliance
· Liaising with Research Operations for the development of internal and CM-facing systems to manage Specializations
Other responsibilities currently include:
Council Member Newsletter:
· Requesting, compiling, and editing content (product announcements/promotions, featured CMs and News posts, etc.) for the monthly CM Newsletter
· Managing the testing and distribution of the Newsletter through an email management platform (Silverpop or StrongMail)
Marketing Liaison:Prioritizing and tracking incoming requests for Marketing collateral (e.g., program one-pagers, banner ads, email campaign templates, etc.) from the Global Council Management team
Institutional Registry:Monitoring the Institutional Registry inbox and providing log-in information to legitimate company contacts; escalating correspondence as needed to Compliance team
Potential candidates possess:
Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.3 or higher from a leading university or equivalent work experienceA minimum of four years of post-undergraduate professional experienceExcellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting using a variety of communication channels (telephone, e-mail, in-person, etc.)Interest in building an Internet-driven businessDemonstrated ability to create and develop working relationships with senior professionals in the fieldProven ability to work in a fast-moving, team-based work environmentBusiness development skills and the ability to track progress towards revenue targets
