Senior Credit Risk Analyst

 

As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will measure, monitor, and analyze historical trends and external factors impacting the credit risk exposure for loan products. You will develop detailed analysis, utilizing sophisticated analytical and financial modeling and statistical techniques to predict, evaluate and manage the credit risks across various loan portfolios. You will assess lending product/portfolio performances specific to credit loss and financial elements. This is a 6 month project that could be extended.

 

Required Skills:

Analytical, computer and statistical skills

Ability to view problems in an analytical manner

Thorough understanding of probability and risk-modeling techniques

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, statistics, finance or economics

Prefer Masters degree in one of these fields

Three years or more of Risk Analysis / Modeling experience at Fortune 500 companies

Solid foundation in computer programming, focused on spreadsheets, and databases

Proficient in SAS with extensive knowledge and application

 

Job Duties:

Assess company policy and portfolio risks

Conduct research, including project design and data analysis

Evaluate and implement internal and external credit scoring, using both traditional and other advanced technologies

Prepare predictive models, generate segmentation analysis, and develop scorecards.

Code, test and implement new policy changes for account acquisition or account management systems

Develop recommendations for credit policy, and profitability and pricing for accounts and portfolios

Provide revenue, cost, delinquency and loss forecasts

Use and develop applied probability models
