Senior Director of Financial Reporting (Relocation to San Fran)

We are currently conducting a search for a Senior Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting for a global investment firm located in San Francisco. The Senior Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting will be responsible for leading a team with the internal and external reporting with the executive management team and Securities and Exchange Commission and technical accounting research related to US GAAP. This position will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Director position will have a CPA with a minimum of 8+ years in a Big Four accounting firm and have acheived the level of Senior Manager / Director and heavy involvment in technical accounting issues. Experience working with financial services companies, such as Investment Banking or Investment Companies is a strong preference, but not an absolute requirement. This position offers relocation and excellent benefits package.
