Ruesch International is recruiting for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join its global finance team. The position is located at our North American Headquarters in Washington, DC. Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance and production of reports for financial, statutory and management reporting purposes in a timely and accurate fashion.  This position:

 

· Ensures accurate and timely production of monthly and annual financial reports.  This will entail all internal and external financial reporting requirements.

· Prepares reports required to be filed by statutes or regulations by Ruesch International around the globe.  Ensures that statutory reports are submitted timely and accurately.

· Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reports to ensure compliance with money transmitter and corporate business licenses.

· Assists with various tax filings including personal property, corporate, state and sales and use tax.

· Prepares monthly US GAAP consolidated financial statements with elimination entries and convert to UK GAAP for reporting to parent.

· Prepares monthly management reports and variance analysis.

· Researches statutory requirements for reporting around the globe.  Documents requirements and timelines required by all jurisdictions.

· Keeps abreast of new and changed statutory reporting requirements.  Updates documentation to reflect new and changed requirements. 

· Prepares applicable audit schedules and assists with audit related questions regarding statutory and financial reporting.

· Establishes strong working relationships with the various disciplines and regional offices.

· Performs other special projects, as assigned Requirements:

 

· 4 year BA/BS in Accounting

· Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience.

· Financial reporting and public accounting experience preferred

· CPA or Advanced Degree a plus

· Knowledge of financial services regulatory environment

· Knowledge of Hyperion HFM or Great Plains a plus

· Proficient in spreadsheet and other business software applications.

· Strong organizational skills; effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments

· Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

· Ability to work and participate in a team oriented environment

· Strong customer service attitude

· Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic and changing environment

· Strong analytical skills with effective problem solving abilities; attention to detail

· High degree of initiative; highly motivated self starter
