Senior IT Auditor

NYSE Euronext is looking for an experienced, business and systems savvy professional with a strong background in IT system and network audit, security, and data analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of general technology controls, as well as deeper expertise in some major sub-domain. Experience with electronic trading and knowledge of US and European market structure. Experience with implementing/evaluating controls related to COBIT, ITIL, or ISO17799 standards and frameworks is highly desirable. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be comfortable analyzing and understanding complex, non- standard systems and business processes, as well as providing IT controls recommendations with minimal supervision. Further, the candidate must approach tasks with an analytical mindset to reduce manual work to the minimum level possible.

Responsibilities: Conduct technical evaluations of various systems and business processes. Document, analyze, and assess systems and related controls. Work with management and users to make recommendations to optimize and control NYSE Euronext systems and processes. Identify and assess IT-related risks and clearly communicate them to stakeholders; define problem-solving and risk-mitigation strategies; facilitate conflict resolution throughout program cycle to ensure timely delivery of solutions. Measure current process designs to facilitate improvements to increase efficiency. Work in cross-functional teams (engineering, product development, computer operations) to help advise and collaborate on optimal integrated system requirements and provide IT controls expertise. Develop or improve internal tools to streamline team workflow and provide better analytical capabilities. Actively support internal audit initiatives, commitments, and plans for new internal audit processes such as continuous auditing.

Requirements: BA/BS or MS degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering. CISA/CISSP or related experience is desirable. Programming or scripting experience is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to work effectively between organizations at all levels. Strong project management and prioritization skills. Must have the ability to multi-task on varying projects and initiatives. Minimum 4 years experience in a combination of business and IT systems audit and security or data analysis experience.
