Senior Information Security Analyst

The RoleThis position will be a staff member in the information security department. This position will assist the Information Security management on all aspects in information security including: policy development, information security awareness and training, creation of technical standards, threat & vulnerability management, incident response team development, penetration testing, etc.Responsibilities• Assists in the coordination and operation of the risk management program that oversees the identification, quantification, and mitigation of information security vulnerabilities for the corporation • Develops and delivers regular reports to management describing the state and status of existing threats, vulnerabilities, mitigations and other information security metrics • Assist in the development and rollout of information security policies and standards • Assist in the delivery of security awareness program • Assists in the coordination of the Omgeo incident management & response team • Assists with the identification and selection of security technology • Performs internal security consulting to technology and product functional units Qualifications• CISSP • Financial Services experience a plus • College level or equivalent in Information Security Management; CISSP preferred. • Minimum 8 years of experience in a multi-vendor, distributed computing environment. • Experience with Information security Policy and compliance, including, Inter/Intranet, Networking policies, e-mail security and use, overall security policy creation based on commonly accepted security practices (with the ability to justify policy strength to real business need or risk). • Demonstrable expertise in client / server environments with specific emphasis on User experience (usability) and adhering to internal audit compliance requirements. • Demonstrable knowledge of information security attacks and attack methodologies. • Demonstrable knowledge of security challenges of implementation of a Security In-Depth architecture design. •Travel -  Up to 10% (primarily Boston-NY)To apply for this position please click on the link below.  Omgeo Careers Omgeo is a joint venture company owned equally by The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and Thomson Financial.
