Senior Investment Analyst

This position will assist in managing the Board’s investment advisory relationship with internal and external “clients” such as the ELCA Foundation, as well as provide key supporting roles with major institutional clients. The position will also provide leadership and guidance to the Board’s social investment program including the social purpose funds that total over $1.2 billion, and represent an important distinguishing factor in the investment marketplace.  Additionally, this position will provide quantitative support and participation to a variety of investment unit initiatives for research of evolving strategies and processes. 

Responsibilities:Develop and monitor the Board’s social investment strategies and program.Assist in  the relationship management of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Board of Trustees.

Lead identification of potential investment opportunities and organizations for positive social investments

Enhance strategic partnerships and coordinating service to the ELCA Foundation

Provide investment communication support to Institutional Plans and join in direct service to major customers.

 Provide research and project lead services within cross-functional investment unit initiatives.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance/investments or a related field. Master’s degree or equivalent in finance/investments preferred.

 

CFA I (Chartered Financial Analyst) candidate required. CFA II candidate preferred.

 

Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience with investments, preferably with significant responsibilities for   interpreting investment information for internal and/or external customers.
