Senior Manager, Risk Management  Job Responsibilities:  Organize and control the department’s Administrative processes, which include: annual collection of underwriting information from the businesses; analysis of underwriting information and preparation of market presentations  payment of premium to insurers and captive and the appropriate; allocation of that premium to the businessesdepartmental accounting;  Sarbanes Oxley compliance;  policy documentation management. (20%) Risk management cost-reduction / program enhancement projects and personal objectives as required (20%) Monitor the financial performance of TRW’s Vermont captive insurer and evaluate the capacity of the captive to support TRW’s risk management programs. (15%) Respond to the day-to-day needs of the Global business units with respect to risk management and insurance activities. (15%) Manage and develop Third Party Administrator (TPA) services in NA. (10%). Develop and monitor TRW’s property loss control and business interruption programs globally. (10%). Provide professional advice and information as required supporting the due diligence process for acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals. (5%) Liaise between the various business functions on risk management projects, e.g. legal, quality, health and safety, insurance, internal audit etc. (5%) Primary InterfacesInternal:Director Risk Management Vice President Treasury and Tax Corporate and Business Unit FinanceCorporate and Business Unit Health, Safety & EnvironmentBusiness Unit Human ResourcesCorporate Legal External: Insurance Broker personnel (from Account Manager to claim handlers)Insurance Company personnel (underwriters and relationship managers)Third Party Adminstrators  Qualifications: Minimum of Eight to -10 years overall experience with five to seven years experience at a senior level within the Treasury or Risk Management & Insurance Department of a large commercial enterprise. Broker or Insurance underwriting experience desired. Excellent communication skills, including ability to interface with management at all levels within the business. Self motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.  Effective under pressure and consistently meets deadlines. Promotes the importance of quality and continuous improvement in business area. Good facilitation and project management skills.  Good computer skills and a competency in software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Highly disciplined with respect to internal work practices and controls. EducationBachelors Degree in one of the following fields Finance / Insurance / Legal. Professional certification (CPCU / ARM or international equivalents).
