An opportunity currently exists within our Product Management department for a Senior Market Research Manager.

POSITION TITLE: SR. MARKET RESEARCH MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: MARKET RESEARCH AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor degree required (Business or Economics Major); MBA or Masters preferred

- Minimum 5 years mutual fund/financial industry experienced in product/market research, product management or marketing required

- In-depth knowledge of mutual fund products and industry preferred

- Experience in market research and/or competitive analysis preferred

- In-depth knowledge of Federated’s financial products preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft office required

MAJOR DUTIES:

- Design, develop and manage research activities for internal clients

- Design and conduct in-depth market and product research for use in product proposals, marketing initiatives, channel/segment reviews, strategic opportunity assessments, etc.

- Develop proficiency in select databases to provide rigorous analysis of relevant product and competitor characteristics

- Develop and maintain an expertise in broad industry trends and key competitor trends

- Serve as a resource to Sr. Managers, Sr. Product Managers and Product Managers to assure the successful design, development and delivery of products and services to clients

HOURS/LOCATION:

- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
