Senior Programmer/Analyst: Fixed Income

The D. E. Shaw group, a global investment and technology development firm with approximately US $35 billion in aggregate investment capital and an international reputation for financial innovation and technological leadership, seeks an exceptionally gifted individual for the role of Senior Programmer/Analyst in its Fixed Income group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design, hands-on development, and support of substantial Fixed Income analytics and trading systems. Exposure to forecasting, option pricing, interest rate modeling, mortgage modeling, and accounting is desirable, as is an academic background in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, or another quantitative field.
