Relocation expenses will be covered by the client.  Job Title  Sr. Project Manager  Job Responsibilities · Manage application development, integrated solution and technical infrastructure projects · Provide leadership and direction to teams of 10 or more I.S. professionals· You will ensure that projects are delivered to clients’ satisfaction within budget and on schedule, working closely with systems architects, senior systems analysts and senior software developers, and sharing responsibility for application delivery and quality  Qualifications/Requirements · You have a minimum of 8 years’ successful program/project management experience· proven experience managing complex portfolio assignments in mid- to large enterprise environments· Extremely proficient in project management disciplines using an accepted project management methodology· You have familiarity and appreciation of tools, practices and processes used in systems integration and the leadership ability to secure, foster and maintain team commitment.· You have excellent decision-making, problem-solving, planning, communication (written and verbal), and organization and negotiation skills. Additional skills:· PMP, or actively pursuing PMP· Knowledge of technical aspect of project management· Active interest in development· Good grasp of handling projects, resolving problems and deliverables as required· Knowledge of RFP/RFI processes  Salary/Compensation $80,000 – $100,000   Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
