Job CategoryIT/Software Development Job Location US-AZ-Scottsdale StatusFull Time Position description This Senior Quality Management Analyst position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to practices in a new QA group. We are looking for an individual who will drive innovative testing concepts that will improve productivity, effectiveness and coverage in a leveraged testing environment. As a Senior QMA, you will work with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) to: Design test cases Liaison for the QME (Quality Management Engineering) team Coordinate project prioritization and implementation strategies across the entire project life cycle from conception through post-implementation review Act as team lead on projects for QA related tasks (e.g. testing methodologies, and documentation) Create weekly status report detailing progress of all ongoing projects This position will allow you to work for a well-established, reputable firm, while enjoying all the challenge of helping to shape QA initiatives. You will also work extensively within your team on test planning, test execution and debugging.QualificationsYou should be able to demonstrate & display advanced knowledge and experience in the following areas: 5 10 Years QA Experience Programming and scripting languages (VB and VB Script) Manual and automated testing of packages Enterprise-class data storage systems and platforms. Project and task estimation and planning Good analytical skills in developing testing strategy for a suite of applications Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical (developers) and non-technical (customers, management) individuals High-level knowledge, and experience in various phases, of the software development life cycle and software change control processes Integration and testing of highly complex systems Automation frameworks, maintenance of automated test case suites, creation of new tests, automated test scheduling and execution and analysis Testing tools including, but not limited to, data creation and maintenance, automation, defect management and traceability for various types of white and black box testing In addition, you should demonstrate the understanding that business knowledge is paramount, and the ability to weigh risks within the testing environment and their impact on the business you support.
