Senior Reporting Analyst - Asset Management Co.
We are recruiting for a solid and growing asset management company. This is a great role for someone with 2-5 years of experience at a Big 4 or regional public accounting firms, or for someone with 2-7 years of financial reporting and analysis experience in the asset management or securities brokerage industries. The successful candidate must be a high performer with a strong accounting reporting, analytical and computer (Excel) skills. Solid communication skills are also important, as you will interact with both Portfolio Managers and clients. The company provides outstanding compensation, including bonus potential of 30% of base salary.
Responsibilities are as follows:
Calculate and report investment performance on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis
Prepare and analyze internal and external financial and management reports relating to investments, as well as key metrics and financial ratios
Act as a liaison between Clients and Portfolio Managers
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and control processes; assist with special accounting/finance projects and ad hoc reporting requests

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2-7 years of experience at a public accounting firm and/or in the investment management or securities brokerage industries, with a strong knowledge of investment accounting and financial reporting
Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel. Working knowledge of Bloomberg system and investment accounting applications a plus
Ability to multi-task, work independently and within a team, demonstrates an attention to detail, motivated to succeed
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
