Senior Staff Auditor

Signature Bank seeks a dedicated individual for its Internal Audit Department in Midtown. Signature’s focus is delivering high-quality services to a select clientele, with attention to developing a professional and lasting relationship.  We currently have the following exciting opportunity:

 Senior Staff Auditor

In this position, you will report to the Chief Auditor and your primary responsibilities will include:

 Obtaining an understanding of and documenting business processes, and identifying related controls;Assisting in the performance of the risk assessment process facilitating the development/modification of the audit program;Performing tests of controls either independently or as part of our team utilizing our integrated audit approach;Evaluating activities in accordance with applicable regulatory and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, GAAS, COSO, etc.);Identifying and documenting control weaknesses and discussing suggestions for correction with Management;Performing administrative duties, special projects and reviews as assigned.

The qualified candidate must have: excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; CPA, CIA or other related professional certification;

a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related field, along with a minimum of 3+ years of progressive audit experience.
