SeniorMarketing Analyst
Essential Responsibilities:
Use understanding of the retail customer, as well as leverage internal customer information and external demographic data to implement and continuously refine the marketing strategy.
Define and execute portfolio and program analytics, data pulls, file generation, etc. to support all assigned marketing initiatives.
Set up testing strategies and prepare results for in-store promotions, direct mail campaigns, email marketing campaigns, application contests or other marketing efforts.
Analyze the portfolio to identify marketing opportunities and segmentation & targeting strategies.
Drive process improvement in CRMS system to support program execution and reporting/analysis.
Manage workflow and on-time delivery of all requests for reports, ad hoc analysis, program results, modeling, targeting and segmentation strategies.
Work with Analytic leader to prioritize initiatives and manage expectations.
Oversee and partner with India based resource on program execution, back-end analytics & reporting needs to meet client CTQs.
Act as a statistical and analytic consultant for large-scale initiatives, providing guidance for the design, analysis, & measurement phases of the projects.
Develop presentations and program report-outs for marketing campaigns and initiatives including strategic recommendations and cost/benefit analysis and present to the client team.
Utilize Six Sigma tools & methods to improve targeting for direct channel campaigns.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years experience in programming (SAS and/or SQL preferred) and platform (UNIX, PC and/or TSO mainframe preferred)
Extensive familiarity with analytic and modeling tools, transactional and SKU-level data, CRM technologies, and segmentation/targeting using card behavior, credit bureau, and demographic data.
Ability to provide end-to-end analytic support including pulling data, preparing analysis, interpreting data, making strategic recommendations and presenting to the client.
Relationship management experience with internal customers and external clients.
Ability to clearly explain technical and analytical information (verbally, written & in presentation format) and apply/summarize for business use.
Excellent project management skills with attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Database Marketing or Quantitative Analysis preferred.

Advanced degree in a quantitative field or MBA with Systems and Marketing specialization strongly preferred.
